I’m gonna try one of these Arduino Nano knockoffs: Upgraded /NANO V3.0 ATmega328 Extended Compatible for arduino ATTINY88 Micro Development Board 16Mhz /Digispark ATTINY85. They seem to be an ATtiny88 in an Arduino Nano form factor.
There are cases for the Nano, but they’re not cheap: Zebra Classic Case for Arduino Nano.
