Privacy policy

This is the internet, it's a public network. You don't have any privacy, don't be silly. We know who you are, where you're from, where you've been, where you're going and where you live. Every time you click on a link, press a key, or move your mouse, we know what you're doing. I actually believe in privacy, but at the moment it's a lost cause, and I'm truly sorry about that. For what it's worth, I'm working on solving that problem, but I'm a fair way off, and in the mean time it's way too late. Google is already reading your email for the CIA, and you already told facebook about everyone you ever knew. Why did you have to go and do that? It makes me sad, truly.

If privacy is important to you, and much respect to you if it is, then you really shouldn't be interacting with us. We're far too open to guarantee you any level of privacy, sorry about that.

And seriously, don't use ProgClub facilities to store sensitive information. Other users who are clever can probably get at your database, or your files; and administrators definitely can. And at ProgClub we let pretty much anyone be an administrator -- so that might be a bit of a problem for you.

Now that your expectations of no privacy are framed, we're happy to tell you about our Administrators' code of conduct, wherein administrators undertake to do what they can to respect your privacy at ProgClub, without making any guarantees.
